Kicking off 2019 with improved infrastructure & NLU quality

In the coming months, we’ll be rolling out changes to make Dialogflow even more reliable, scalable, and accurate. You should notice better conversation quality due to improvements in intent matching and latency. We’ve also improved system entity recognition and language support. These improvements apply to both Dialogflow editions (Standard and Enterprise).

Improved conversation quality and scalability

Dialogflow’s improvements to intent matching should enhance conversation quality for your users. In addition, we’ve incorporated technology and infrastructure from Google to improve the scalability of Dialogflow agents. This technology will allow us to better serve large agents with a high number of intents and entities as well as better handle large query loads.

System entity improvements

System entities will now be recognized more accurately so you can get more dates, times, colors, currencies, and other data from your users without any custom code or logic. We’ve also improved system entity language infrastructure in order to provide better cross-language support.
